<br />SWC:sh <br />SWC: sh <br /> <br />4/30/85 <br />5/06/85R <br /> <br />which will further substantially lessen the significant <br /> <br />environmental impacts identified in the ErR and Traffic <br /> <br />Study and which will be incorporated in the Project. As a <br /> <br />result, the Developer will be required to mitigate traffic <br /> <br />impacts of the Project to the fullest extent feasible. The <br /> <br />mitigation measures are set forth in the Traffic Study at <br /> <br />pp. 12-14 and the Barton-Aschman study, and include the <br /> <br />redesign of the Project so that the main entrance to the <br /> <br />Project will be at Bridge Parkway, which will be four (4) <br /> <br />lanes into the Project. <br /> <br />Additional mitigation measures <br /> <br />include widening Redwood Shores Parkway to four (4) lanes <br /> <br />and reserving land along Marine World Parkway for possible <br /> <br />future widening to eight (8) lanes. <br /> <br />Various intersections <br /> <br />along Marine World Parkway will be signalized, as suggested <br /> <br />by the Traffic Study. <br /> <br />In addition, in order to further <br /> <br />reduce traffic impacts at peak hours, and to encourage the <br /> <br />Developer to establish an aggressive transportation system <br /> <br />management program, the number of parking spaces in the <br /> <br />proj ect should be reduced in accordance with the Policy <br /> <br />adopted by the Planning Commission on April 16, 1985, in <br /> <br />approving a Planned Development Permit for the Marine World <br /> <br />Executive Park (which policy is described in the minutes of <br /> <br />said meeting, reference to which is made for the particulars <br /> <br />thereof). The Developer shall be required to participate in <br /> <br />mitigation of off-site traffic impacts, if necessary as <br /> <br />determined by the City, which may be generated by the <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />9872 <br />
