<br />DES:sh 11/10/86 <br /> <br />described in said Resolution No. 9814, which property is <br /> <br />referred to as the "Present Uplands" in the Agreement and <br /> <br />hereinafter and which is described in Exhibit "A-I" hereof, <br /> <br /> <br />attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice has been given each person whose property is <br /> <br />to be acquired by eminent domain and whose name and address <br /> <br />appears on the last equalized County Assessment Roll of the <br /> <br /> <br />proposed adoption of this resolution pursuant to Code of Civil <br /> <br />Procedure Section 1245.235; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, likewise pursuant to said Section 1245.235, hearing <br /> <br /> <br />was held on December 8 , 1986 by this Council on the question <br /> <br /> <br />of adoption of this Resolution of Necessity with respect to the <br /> <br /> <br />exercise of eminent domain to acquire the Present Uplands; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no written requests to appear and be heard at <br /> <br />said hearing were filed within fifteen (15) days from the date of <br /> <br /> <br />the aforesaid notice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing all persons present were afforded <br /> <br /> <br />an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the Present <br /> <br /> <br />Uplands for the public purpose described in Resolution No. 9814; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.
