<br />01/11/2010 <br /> <br />Permits Non-Transferable <br />Any permit issued pursuant to these regulations shall pertain solely to the Permittee, <br />and shall be void if transferred or assigned in any manner, except with the written <br />consent of the City Manager or his or her designee. <br /> <br />Pre and Post Event Walk- Thru <br />At the conclusion of the event, Courthouse Square will be inspected by a City <br />representative for additional clean up and damage charges. If the Permittee has not <br />cleaned and/or repaired the Square and restored it to its original condition, the City will <br />clean and/or repair the Square and retain the deposit or portion thereof, and charge the <br />Permittee for amount of actual costs to recover City expenses for site cleanup and <br />repair. <br /> <br />Cancellation of Events <br />A. Cancellation for all minor events must be received at least 48 hours in advance <br />of the event to qualify for a full refund of the permit fee, less any actual costs <br />incurred by the City. If cancellation occurs fewer than 48 hours prior to the date <br />of the event, ~ of the permit fee shall be forfeited. <br /> <br />B. Cancellation for all major events must be received at least ten days in advance <br />of the event to qualify for a full refund of the permit fee, less any actual costs <br />incurred by the City. If cancellation occurs fewer than ten days prior to the date <br />of the event, ~ of the permit fee shall be forfeited. <br /> <br />C. Cancellation for all exclusive use events must be received at least ten days in <br />advance of the event to qualify for a full refund of the permit fee, less any actual <br />costs incurred by the City. If cancellation occurs fewer than ten days prior to the <br />date of the event, ~ of the permit fee shall be forfeited. <br /> <br />D. If cancellation occurs, the Permittee will receive a full refund of the cleaning and <br />damage deposit, less any actual costs incurred by the City. <br /> <br />E. City reserves the right to cancel any events at any time for any reason. <br /> <br />Tape <br />In order to avoid damage to Courthouse Square, painter's tape or heavy matting is the <br />only permissible method to secure power cords or other fixtures to the Square surface. <br />Other types of tape such as duct and masking tape are not allowed. <br /> <br />Temporary Structures <br />Temporary structures such as podium, stage, tent poles with a concrete base, table or <br />any other structure shall not be dragged on the surface of the Square.
