Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br />(a) The unit charge or schedule of Charges and fees <br /> for the service and use of the Sewerage Facilities <br /> to be paid by the permittee, and the terms and <br /> conditions of such payment; <br />(b) The allowable average and maximum Wastewater <br /> Constituents and Characteristics thereof permitted <br /> to be discharged into the Sewerage Facilities; <br />(c) Limitations upon time and rate of Wastewater <br /> discharge, or requirements for flow regulations <br /> and equalization thereof; <br />(d) Requirements for the installation of inspection, <br /> sampling or testing facilities; <br />(e) Pretreatment requirements; <br />(f) Specifications for monitoring programs which may <br /> include, but shall not necessarily be limited to, <br /> sampling locations, frequency and method of <br /> sampling, number, types and standards for tests, <br /> and reporting schedule; <br />(g) Requirements for submission of technical reports <br /> or Wastewater discharge reports; <br />(h) Requirements for maintaining, for not less than 3 <br /> years, plant records relating to the Wastewater <br /> discharge as specified by Authority's Manager and <br /> providing for access thereto of Authority's <br /> Manager or City's Director, including provisions <br /> pursuant to which such records shall be made <br /> available for copying and inspection by <br /> Authority's Manager or City's Director; <br />( i) The mean and maximum Mass Emission Rates, or other <br /> appropriate limits when Incompatible Pollutants <br /> are proposed to be discharged into, or are present <br /> in, the permittee's Wastewater discharge; <br />(j) Requirements for submission, prior to closure or <br /> abandonment of the permittee's facilities, of a <br /> closure plan detailing the means by which the <br /> permittee's sanitary facilities, including <br /> Pretreatment facilities, shall be secured upon <br /> such closure or abandonment; and <br />(k) Such other conditions, requirements, or provisions <br /> deemed appropriate by Authority's Manager or <br /> City's Director to ensure compliance with the <br /> provisions of Authority's Regulations, or this <br /> Chapter, or other Requirements of Law. <br /> 29 <br />
