Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Waste- <br />water discharge permits authorized under Authority's <br />Regulations and this Chapter shall be effective for the <br />period described therein, but in any event, for no <br />longer than five years from the date of issuance. The <br />period specified in a permit may be less than a year, <br />may be expressed in years, or may specify a date of <br />expiration. <br /> Upon expiration of the express term of a <br />Wastewater discharge permit, the term thereof shall be <br />deemed renewed automatically for successive I-year <br />periods, the first of which shall commence upon the day <br />next following the last day of the express term; <br />provided, however, that in the event Authority's <br />Manager gives written notice to the permittee of the <br />termination or expiration of the permit not less than <br />30 days prior to the expiration of the express term <br />thereof, or prior to the expiration of any successive <br />I-year term thereof, then a new permit shall be <br />required subject to the provisions of Authority's <br />Regulations and this Chapter. <br /> Every permit shall be subject to modification, <br />amendment, or other revision during the term thereof by <br />Authority's Nanager with the concurrence of City's <br />Director, as determined necessary by Authority's <br />Manager and said City's Director in order to obtain <br />compliance by the User with the requirements of <br /> 30 <br />
