Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br />equipment to allow inspection, sampling, and flow <br />measurement of the User's Building Sewer, or internal <br />drainage systems, or Waste or Wastewater discharges. <br />Such monitoring, sampling, or metering facilities or <br />equipment shall be located on the User's Premises; <br />provided, however, that Authority's Manager may allow <br />such equipment or facility to be constructed upon <br />public property adjacent to the User's Premises upon a <br />determination by Authority's Manager, with the <br />concurrence of the City's Director that location of <br />such equipment or facilities upon the User's Premises <br />would be impracticable or cause unnecessary or undue <br />hardship. In the event that Authority's Manager makes <br />the foregoing determination with the concurrence of <br />City's Director, and the public property upon which <br />such facilities or equipment are proposed to be <br />constructed or installed are outside City's boundaries, <br />the User shall obtain permission for such installation <br />or construction, and for the maintenance and operation <br />of such facilities or equipment, from the governmental <br />agency which owns or exercises managerial control over <br />such property. <br /> Monitoring, sampling, or metering facilities or <br />equipment to be provided, installed, maintained and <br />operated pursuant to the provisions of this Section <br />shall be so situated, constructed and installed as to <br />permit safe and immediate access thereto by Authority's <br /> 32 <br />
