Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> Sewer Maintenance District within the City. <br /> (4) Additional Dwelling Units. In the event <br /> additional dwelling units are to be constructed <br /> which would increase the number of dwelling units <br /> being served by a single sewer connection, a <br /> Wastewater treatment capacity fee shall be paid <br /> for such additional dwelling units in accordance <br /> with Subdivision (a) (1). The fee payable shall be <br /> the amount by which the Wastewater treatment <br /> capacity fee calculated upon the number of <br /> dwelling units after such construction exceeds the <br /> Wastewater treatment capacity fee calculated upon <br /> the number of dwelling units prior to such <br /> construction. <br /> (5) Additional Industrial Volume. In the event the <br /> volume of Waste or Wastewater to be discharged <br /> into the Sewerage Facilities from a commercial, <br /> industrial, institutional, or other non- <br /> residential structure is increased by installation <br /> of additional plumbing fixtures or enlargement, <br /> expansion, or reconstruction of said structure, <br /> and such structure is to be served by an existing <br /> sewer connection, a Wastewater treatment capacity <br /> fee shall be paid for such additional volume in <br /> accordance with Subdivision (a) (2). The fee <br /> payable shall be the amount by which the <br /> Wastewater treatment capacity fee calculated upon <br /> the total volume after the increase exceeds the <br /> Wastewater treatment capacity fee calculated upon <br /> the volume prior to such increase. <br /> (b) Facilities Fee. <br /> (1) Established. A facilities fee is hereby <br /> established to provide for the use and construction of <br /> existing and future sanitary sewerage system capital <br /> facilities in accordance with a capital improvements <br /> program duly approved by the City Council. Said fee <br /> shall be collected concurrently with the Wastewater <br /> treatment capacity fee specified in subdivision (a) of <br /> this Section 27.101, and shall be in addition to all <br /> other fees and charges specified in this Chapter or <br /> 66 <br />
