Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> otherwise provided for the use of the City's Sewerage <br /> Facilities. <br /> The amount of the facilities fee, per equivalent <br /> dwelling unit (hereinafter defined) is Nine Hundred <br /> Sixty Dollars ($960.00). <br /> (2) Dwelling Unit Equivalent. The fee <br /> hereinabove established shall be calculated on the <br /> basis of 'dwelling unit equivalents' . The amount <br /> payable for multi-family residential structures shall <br /> be determined by multiplying the above-specified fee <br /> times the number of dwelling units contained therein. <br /> The amount payable for commercial, industrial, or other <br /> structures shall be determined by multiplying the <br /> above-specified fee times the square footage of the <br /> structure for which calculation is being made divided <br /> by two thousand. <br /> (3) Exceptions. Notwithstanding the provisions <br /> of subdivisions (1) and (2) , above, exceptions to the <br /> amount of the facilities fee and the basis for <br /> establishing said fee may be granted by the Council set <br /> forth in an agreement or upon application of a User, <br /> upon the finding by the Council that the aforesaid fee <br /> or the basis therefore is not equitable with respect to <br /> a particular Premises or User. <br /> (4) Exclusion. The facilities fee hereby <br /> established shall not apply to Premises located within <br /> Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, a <br /> 67 <br />
