"ARTICLE VI. MECHANICAL CODE <br /> "Section 9.70. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq., of the <br /> Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br /> the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1994 Edition, as published by the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials is hereby adopted and shall be in effect within <br /> the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in full herein except as <br /> expressly amended by the provisions of this article. <br /> "(b) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Uniform <br /> Mechanical Code, 1994 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Mechanical Code, <br /> and the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of this chapter shall apply." <br /> "Section 9.71. Section 115.2 of .the Mechanical Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "`Section 115.2. Permit Fees. Each applicant for a permit to do work <br /> regulated by this code shall pay to the Building Official for each permit at the <br /> time of issuance a fee established by resolution of the City Council." <br /> "Section 9.72. Section 310.1 of the Mechanical Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 310.1.
