The officers of the senior affairs <br />commission shall be a chairman, a vice-chairman, and a secretary, <br />each of whom shall serve for a period of one year. Yearly <br />elections shall be held by the commission to elect such officers. <br /> "Section 2.136. The duties of the various officers of <br />the senior affairs commission shall be as follows: <br /> "(a) The chairman shall preside at all meetings, <br /> submit all motions to vote, and in general do all <br /> things ordinarily required of a commission chairman. <br /> " (b) The vice-chairman shall assume and perform the <br /> duties of the chairman in his or her absence. <br /> " (c) The secretary shall take and maintain minutes of <br /> all meetings of the commission, keep accurate records <br /> of all proceedings of the commission, and shall <br /> perform such other duties as are usual for such <br /> office. <br /> "Section 2.137. From time to time the senior affairs <br />commission may appoint committees, the membership of which shall <br />be comprised of a commissioner, as chairman, and such other <br />persons, either members of the commission or otherwise, who may <br />be elected by the commission. Such committees shall function in <br />investigations and in providing information and data necessary <br />for the establishment of programs to be recommended by the <br />commission.
