<br /> DCB:rks 6/19/84R <br /> DCB: sh 8/02/84R <br /> DES:sh 10/25/84R <br /> DES:sh 11/26/84R <br />any franchise granted pursuant to the terms thereof, the <br />following terms, phrases, words and their derivations shall have <br />the meaning given herein: <br /> " (a) Grantee: The person, firm or corporation to whom <br />a franchise is granted under this article and the lawful <br />successor or assignee of such person, firm, corporations, and a <br />licensee as described in Section 11.72 (c) and an entity <br />described in Section 11.75 (d) herein. <br /> " (b) Street: The surface of, and the space above and <br />below any City street, road, highway, freeway, lane, alley, <br />court, sidewalk, walkway, parkway, drive or public utility <br />easement, storm sewer easement, or sanitary sewer easement now <br />or hereafter existing. <br /> " (c) Community antenna television system, hereinafter <br />referred to as "CATV System"..: Coaxial cables, wave guides, or <br />other conductors and equipment for providing television service <br />by cable or through cable facilities as herein contemplated. <br /> " (d) Subscribers: Any person or entity receiving for any <br />purpose service through or from the CATV System of a Grantee. <br /> " (e) Gross Annual Revenues: Any and all compensation and <br />other consideration in any form whatever and any contributing <br />grant or subsidy received directly or indirectly by a Grantee <br />from subscribers or users in payment for television signals <br />received within the City. <br /> 2 <br /> ----~.--- . . <br />
