In addition to areas served by Grantee <br />within the City of Redwood City under Ordinance No. 1892 <br />(repealed in Section 1 hereof) or any other prior franchise with <br />Grantor, Grantee shall provide CATV service within two years <br />from the operative date of this franchise to all areas within the <br />corporate limits of the City as said limits existed upon the <br />operative date of this franchise. Grantee shall provide CATV <br />service to all areas which are annexed to the City of Redwood <br />City after said operative date, subject to the condition that if <br />Grantee has received written requests for service from fifteen <br />(15) or more separate residences within 400 cable meters of a <br />specific aerial trunkline, or has received written requests for <br />service from 25 or more separate residences within 400 cable <br />meters of a specific underground trunkline, and all connection <br />and service fees have been deposited in advance with Grantee, <br />Grantee shall provide CATV services to such separate residences. <br />If such areas are beyond the aforementioned distances, the <br />estimated cost of construction for providing service shall also <br />be deposited by the users of such service at the same time as the <br />connection and service fees. <br /> 8 <br /> _. ~._..,... <br />
