10/14/2019 <br />A. Upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle for which a permit has been issued. <br />B. Upon the relocation of the permittee from his or her residence within a residential <br />parking area to another residence, whether within or outside said area. <br />C. Upon expiration of the calendar year for which a permit has been issued or the <br />date identified on the visitor permit, whichever is later. <br />Sec. 20.207. - POSTING OF RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA: <br />Upon the adoption of a resolution by the Council designating a residential permit <br />parking area, the City Manager shall order appropriate signs to be erected in such <br />area, indicating prominently thereon the time limitation, day or days and hours <br />during which parking shall be restricted. Parking restrictions established pursuant <br />to this Division shall be in effect between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. <br />and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. from Monday through Friday with holidays specified in <br />Section 20.1 of this Chapter excluded, unless otherwise established by resolution <br />setting different parking restrictions for a particular residential permit parking area. <br />Sec. 20.208. -VIOLATIONS: <br />A. It is unlawful and a violation of this Division, unless expressly provided to the <br />contrary herein, for any person to park a motor vehicle on a street in a residential <br />permit parking area beyond the parking time limit, posted by signs giving notice <br />thereof and erected pursuant to this Division, without a valid residential parking <br />permit and sticker properly affixed to such vehicle. <br />B. No person shall park a motor vehicle within a residential permit parking area with <br />a residential parking permit or sticker affixed to such vehicle evidencing that such <br />permit has expired or which has been terminated or is not valid for the area in <br />which such vehicle has been parked beyond the parking time limit posted by signs <br />giving notice thereof and erected pursuant to this Division. <br />C. It is unlawful and a violation of this Division for a person falsely to represent himself <br />or herself as eligible for a residential parking permit, er-a temper -any -visitor parking <br />permit, or to furnish false information in an application for any such permits. <br />D. It is unlawful and a violation of this Division for any person to use or display, or <br />permit the use or display of, a residential parking permit, of -a tempeFa4y-visitor <br />parking permit, or a sticker pertaining thereto on a motor vehicle other than that <br />vehicle for which such permit or sticker was issued. <br />Sec. 20.209. - EXEMPTIONS: <br />A. Any motor vehicle on which is displayed a valid residential parking permit, <br />temperafy-visitor parking permit, or sticker pertaining thereto as provided for herein <br />may be parked on a street in the residential permit parking area pertaining thereto <br />without limitation of the time restrictions established by the Council under Section <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />ATTY/ORD.491/CC RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING ORDINANCE NO. 2467 <br />REV: 08-09-19 PR MUFF NO. 703 <br />
