Contractor will notify City staff immediately upon discovering any emergency or <br />immediate repairs needed to a pump during the course of PM inspections. <br />Task 2: Major Repairs and Replacements <br />A. Contractor will obtain written approval from City staff before starting any major repairs. <br />B. Contractor will submit to City staff the following information in order to obtain written <br />approval for a repair: <br />• A description of the work determined to be necessary; <br />• A cost estimate for such work; and <br />• An expected timeline for completion. <br />C. Contractor will remove, transport, repair, or replace, and re -install pumps, motors, and <br />related equipment to and from the City's water pump stations. <br />D. Contractor will coordinate with City staff for access to the pump stations. <br />Task 3: On -Call and Emergency Repairs <br />A. Contractor will maintain a telephone number for the entire term of the Agreement, and <br />any and all extensions, at which City staff can reach Contractor 24 hours a day, 365 days <br />a year for on-call and emergency repair requests. <br />B. Contractor will respond to emergency repair requests, defined as requests which City <br />staff specify is an emergency repair request at the time of request for service, within 4 <br />hours of receiving notice from City staff. Notice may include written or verbal <br />communication, including, but not limited to, entails and phone calls. Contractor will <br />perform a site visit within 24 hours of receiving notice from the City for emergency <br />repairs and will utilize best available options to provide a timely resolution. <br />C. Contractor will respond within 48 hours to on-call repair requests, defined as non- <br />emergency repair requests. <br />General Requirements <br />A. Parts and Materials <br />Contractor will have available an inventory of common parts and materials needed to <br />maintain the City's water pumps and motors. Contractor must have materials needed for <br />preventative maintenance available at all times. <br />B. Damages <br />Contractor is responsible for any damage caused by Contractor's staff during the course <br />of their work and will correct any damages as directed by the City within an agreed upon <br />timeframe. <br />C.
