I've also informed my landlord through the course of the years I've lived in my apartment that I
do a lot of traveling in and out of town. This apt is now my primary home and when home, I
tend to be out and about and might be hard to reach.
I have given the contact number to my handyman, Richard "Rich" Polifrone who is in charge
of my apartment's various improvements. I informed my landlord that I don't have any
idea of any improvement, repairs, etc. My landlord is aware that my handyman, Richard
Polifrone handle ALL communications regarding any issue with my apartment. My
landlord and Rich have communicated with each other several times.
To date, the following are all the improvements I've done on my apt:
COST
(Laborand
Materials)
$7,500
$5,000
$10,000
$7,000
$2,000
$2,000
$1,500
IMPROVEMENT
Replaced carpet with bamboo floors (including in
kitchen/closet/bathroom
Replaced toilet and vanity
Replaced kitchen cabinets, countertops and
appliances
Installed wooden fence
Installed artificial grass
Landscaping and water irrigation
garden shed
The only thing left not replaced is the bathtub. I did not ask for one because I thought we had an
understanding that
I will be staying long term.
