7A Page 4 SECTION 3. Section 9.30 of Article III of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 9.30. PERMIT T4 MOVE BUtLDING FROM ONE LOT TO ANOTHER OR FROM OUTSI�E CITY TO WITHIN CtTY-BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED: No building shall be moved to any site within the City until the owner ofi the lot or parcel to which the building is to be moved, or his agent, secures a building permit pursuant to chapter 1 {commencing at section 105) of the Building Code of the City, adopted in Section 9.40." {Ord. No. 1003, § 12) SECTION 4. Article IV of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby added to read as follows: "ARTICLE IV. BUfLDING CODES Sec. 9.40. AD4PTION BY REFERENCE; CONFLICTING PROVISIONS: A. Pursuant to Section 50022.1, ef seq., of the Gavernment Code and Section 15 of the Char�er of#he City of Redwood City, the foliowing codes, standards and regulations are hereby adopted and shal! be in effect within the City to the same extent as if set out in full herein, except as expressly amended by the provisions of this Article: (1) The International Building Code, 2006 Edition, as pub{ished by the Intemational Code Council. Appendix Chapters I and J are specifically adopted and shall be enforceable to the same extent as if contained in fihe body of this Code. The remainder of the Appendix is not adop�ed and shall not be a part of this Code. B. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the International Building Code, 2006 Editian, hereinafter referred to as the Building Code and the provisions of this Chapter, the provisions of this Chapter shall apply.
