7B <br /> Page 10 <br /> Floor plan signs shall be printed in a nondecorative lettering which shalf <br /> not be less than three-sixteenths of an inch (3/16"} in height and shall <br /> provide a sha�p contrast with the background. The information shal( <br /> accurately depict the layout of the floor where fhe sign is located. <br /> (c) Public Address System. In buildings four (4) or more stories in heighfi, a <br /> public address system shall be installed for the exclusive use of Fire <br /> Departrnent personnel, peace officers, or other City enfarcement personnel <br /> according to specifications appraved by the Fire Prevention Bureau. <br /> Controls for, and access to, such system shal! be installed on the ground <br /> #loar of the bui(ding at a location subiect to the approval of the fire code <br /> official. <br /> (d) Fire Equipment. In buildings of four (4) or more stories in height, a <br /> cabinet or other enclosed facility shafl be pr'ovided in every stairwell, smoke <br /> tower, or such sirnilar structure on alternate floors, commencing with fhe <br /> third ffoor, for the storage of fire hose and related equipment. Said <br /> cabinets, devices, hoses and related equipment shall be furnished by the <br /> building owner or property developer who canstructs such building. All such <br /> equipment and the specific location thereof shall be subject to the approval <br /> ofi the fire code official. <br /> (e) Communication in Buildings. Whenever the sfze, orientation, <br /> construction and/ar components of a building ar structure attenuate public <br /> safety radio frequency signals, an in-building communication system shall <br /> be installed by the owner to enab[e point-to-paint fire department radio <br /> communicafiions within, to, and from said building or structure. SECTION 901.4.5 OF THE FIRED CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 901.4.5 is hereby added to the Fire Cade to read as foliows: <br /> Section 90'{.4.5. SECTtON 901.10 OF THE FIRE CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 901.10 is hereby added to the Fire Code to read as follows: <br /> Sectian 901.10.
