(ii) Seismicity-Related Impacts. The Project may be exposed to <br /> seismic ground movement, liquefaction of Bay Mud sediments and <br /> flooding from a combination of storms, high tic, es, and/or seismic <br /> causes (tsunamis and seiches). Seismic-related impacts shall be <br /> mitigated through properly engineered fill and properly designed <br /> and engineered structural features, including the use of piles, deep <br /> foundations, and other "state of the art" design features. <br /> Seismically induced flooding shall be mitigated through properly <br /> designed and constructed levees. Said mitigation shall be <br /> implemented and monitored by requiring such mitigation as <br /> conditions to permits or other entitlements, including, without <br /> limitation, building permits, and shall be monitored by periodic <br /> inspections during construction, and inspections by City personnel <br /> and representatives of other agencies having jurisdiction following <br /> seismic events. <br /> <br /> (g) Hydroloq¥. Stormwater drainage may cause flooding of the <br /> Property. Said potential effect shall be mitigated through properly <br /> designed and engineered stormwater control plans including, <br /> without limitation, possible incorporation of an existing drainage <br /> ditch between the Property and adjacent properties owned by <br /> Cargill Salt Company, as a means for detaining water.
