Site subsidence may occur due to groundwater overdrafting. Said <br /> potential effect shall be mitigated by requiring adherence to safe <br /> extraction levels as a condition to permits or other entitlements. <br /> Said mitigation shall be implemented and monitored through the <br /> establishment of an account with the City (for an amount to be <br /> determined by the City) by the Project Proponent to provide <br /> periodic monitoring of static water levels and periodic evaluations <br /> by the City of the groundwater levels within the F roperty. <br /> <br /> Potential flooding of the Property may occur through a combination <br /> of storms and high tides. Said potential impact shall be mitigated <br /> by a properly designed stormwater control plan for the Project <br /> which may include channeling of waters through existing ditches <br /> bordering the easterly and southern boundaries of the Property and <br /> providing temporary storage and transport of stormwater runoff <br /> from Seapod Boulevard and the Property to Redwood Creek via an <br /> easement owned by the Project Proponent. <br /> <br /> Both groundwater and surface water contamination may occur from <br /> the Project, adversely affecting the water quality in the area. Such <br /> contamination shall be mitigated through implementation of NPDES <br /> (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) controls, under <br /> the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board ("RWQCB").
