<br />6.2A <br />Page 2 <br />The salary ranges for these positions are based on current salaries of incumbents in the <br />positions. Future salary increases will be subject to the Meet and Confer process with <br />SEIU. <br /> <br />Attached for your review are the job descriptions for the new classifications listed above <br />(see attachment 2.) <br /> <br />As a result of the casual workers being moved into the regular unit, the City will amend <br />its full-time equivalent positions of the regular or permanent workforce as follows: <br /> <br /> Department Full-time <br /> Equivalent <br /> Position <br />Community Development Services .88 <br />. 1 - Community Development Specialist <br />City Manager .52 <br />. 1 - Administrative Cierk <br />Finance .89 <br />. 1- Account Clerk <br />Library 4.18 <br />. 1 - Library Assistant II <br />. 1 - Library Page <br />. 1 - Project READ Assistant <br />. 4 - Senior Library Page <br />Police 2.26 <br />. 1 - Records Clerk <br />. 1 - Parking Enforcement Officer <br />. 1 - PAL After School Coordinator <br />Parks, Recreation & Community Services 20.73 <br />. 2 - Food Service Worker 1/111111 <br />. 3 - Facility Aide <br />. 1 - Maintenance Custodian <br />. 12 - Recreation Leader 1111/111 <br />. 15 - Recreation Specialist 1/11/111 <br /> <br />Cost for benefits and salary adjustments are estimated at $241,062 for this fiscal year. <br />Once all positions are allocated and benefits enrollments processed, a budget <br />amendment will be submitted to Council for the actual cost. <br /> <br />Current funding for these positions resides in the casual and temporary position budget <br />of the respective departments. The current casual funding will be reallocated to fund the <br />positions being moved into the Unit. The impending budget amendment will cover the <br />new costs incurred for benefits for the positions. Additionally, the budget amendment <br />will also cover salary adjustments for a total of five positions that are in the casual <br />workforce but currently paid lower than the approved rate for SEIU positions. <br />
