<br />134 Maple Street, EDSA, Redwood City <br />Proposal to Provide Traffic Engineering Services <br /> <br />B. RKH will estimate project vehicle distribution and assignment on the surrounding <br />street system based on estimates of area distribution of employees and visitors at the <br />facility and add project generated traffic to Background Conditions traffic in the <br />traffic model. <br /> <br />C. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Project (E+A+P) Conditions at <br />each of the five study area intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and afternoon (4-6 <br />p.m.) peak hours using the procedures contained in HCM2000. <br /> <br />5. Cumulative Conditions - Proposed Zoning. <br /> <br />A. With information provided by CLIENT, RKH will estimate vehicle trip generation <br />and distribution for identified parcels within the study area that could increased to <br />their maximum use within proposed zoning. <br /> <br />B. In consultation with City staff, RKH will determine the build-out year to project <br />traffic conditions to and will apply a background growth factor to the traffic through <br />the study area intersection. <br /> <br />C. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Cumulative (E+A+C) Conditions <br />at each of the five study area intersections for the morning (7-9. a.m.) and afternoon <br />(4-6 p.m.) peak hours using the procedures contained in HCM2000. <br /> <br />6. Cumulative Conditions - Proposed Zoning + Project. <br /> <br />RKH will add project traffic to the cumulative conditions as determined in Section 5 above <br />and will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Cumulative (E+A+C+P) Conditions at <br />each of the five study area intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and afternoon (4-6 p.m.) <br />peak hours using the procedures contained in HCM2000. <br /> <br />7. Site Access, Circulation and Parking. <br /> <br />A. RKH will evaluate site access on Maple Street taking into consideration comer sight <br />distance and queuing. <br /> <br />B. RKH will evaluate on-site circulation and accessibility to on-site facilities for <br />deliveries, refuse collection, and public safety vehicles. * <br /> <br />* CLIENT to provide RKH with electronic copy of site plan in AutoCAD dwg <br />format. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />~-I-I- <br />
