. VERIFIER
. STATUS(A-Approved-Failed,H-On Hold)
. COMMENTS

The washing machine rebate database system will use the same agency and agency user
tables that the toilet replacement program uses. The washing machine rebate application will
create a record in a new SQL Server table for each line (rebate application) in the Excel file.
The SQL Server table will accumulate all of the rebate applications received week by week in
the Excel files, so the file date will be a field in the new table (for querying purposes).
The City will provide a screen for agencies to view their customers' applications for
rebates and then approve, deny, or leave pending each one.
PG&E expects the applications contained within the Excel file to be returned within ten
days with the status of each application. The washing machine rebate application will update
the file and return it to PG&E via email through a user directed interface developed for this
system.
The City will provide the following reports.
. Brand / Model/Purchase Price / Store Name Report
. A Summary by Period of rebates paid, denied, or pending by Agency
. A report showing what rebate applications have not been updated

Agencies will be able to view and print the reports for their own rebate applications. BAWSCA
will be able to view and print the data for all agencies. The reports will have selection options
including from/to dates and rebate status.
Redwood City has been developing software for many years and currently develops
software for several external agencies. We have the resources and expertise to complete this
in a timely and professional manner.

7
