EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. Contractor will provide temporary staffing agency services on an as -needed basis to the <br />City's Community Development & Transportation Department (Department). ) <br />2. Contractor will provide the City with competent personnel who possess the qualifications <br />to perform the services described in Exhibit B "Work Duties, Skills, and Abilities". <br />3. Contractor will ensure a sufficient number of competent and qualified personnel are readily <br />available to meet the City's temporary staffing needs. <br />4. Contractor will conduct background and reference checks of personnel assigned to perform <br />services under this Agreement (Assigned Personnel), at no additional charge to the City. <br />Contractor shall conduct background checks in a manner consistent with the City's process. <br />The background check shall include: <br />a. For all personnel, a statewide criminal history check — including all felony, <br />misdemeanors, and sex offense charges within seven (7) years from the date the <br />request for assignment is made by the Department Director (Director); <br />b. For all personnel assigned to a position with driving as a paramount job <br />responsibility, a driver's record check — including DMV records, and the current <br />license status within seven (7) years from the date the request for assignment is <br />made by the Director; <br />c. For all personnel assigned to a position granting regular access to Ten Thousand <br />Dollars ($10,000) or more in cash, authority to enter into a contract, with financial <br />obligations to the City, and/or access to credit accounts, bank information, social <br />security numbers, or dates of birth, a credit check - including a credit report, within <br />a seven (7) years from the date request for assignment is made by the Director; and <br />d. For all personnel subject to the credit check requirement set forth above or assigned <br />to a position with unaccompanied supervisory authority and responsibility over <br />minors, fingerprinting to establish a record of the personnel so that the City may <br />receive notification by the Contractor of subsequent state or federal arrests of the <br />Assigned Personnel. <br />5. Contractor shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations <br />prohibiting discrimination and harassment. Contractor will provide all Assigned Personnel <br />with harassment prevention training in accordance with state law. <br />6. Contractor will adhere to all applicable state, federal and local laws, including but not <br />limited to state, federal and local laws regarding employment, healthcare, immigration, <br />non-discrimination in employment, and compensation of wages. <br />7. Assignment Requests and Selection <br />a. The Director or his/her designee may contact Contractor to request personnel to <br />temporarily provide any combination of duties set forth in Exhibit B and as <br />requested by the Director. <br />b.
