REV: 11-03-2021 SK <br />TASK 1.2: POST-INSTALLATION WORKSHOP <br />Consultant shall develop materials and facilitate a workshop few months after the quick-build <br />installation. Format of the workshop (in-person or virtual) will be determined later base on the <br />COVID-19 condition. Goal of the workshop is to hear feedback from community members and <br />supplement the survey responses. <br />Note: staff hours allocated to the community workshop might be used for an in-person bicycle <br />ride with the community members or a pop-up educational event about the project. <br />TASK 1 DELIVERABLES <br />Community survey in online and hard copy formats (draft and final) <br />Survey translation in Spanish <br />Post-installation workshop (might be replaced with a group bicycle ride or an educational <br />po-up event). <br />Task 2: Services during Construction (Installation Design Services) <br />Consultant shall assist the City, as needed, with responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) <br />and material submittals from the construction contractor during the bike boulevard installation <br />process. Consultant shall respond to RFIs and submittals primarily via email, but can also <br />schedule calls with the City and/or construction contractor on an as needed basis. Additionally, <br />Consultant shall assist with design changes that are necessary because of RFIs. <br />Consultant shall perform one site walk, with City staff, after construction of the Vera Avenue <br />Bicycle Boulevard in order to cross check installations against the construction plans. <br />Consultant shall use the site walk to develop a construction punch list, in Excel format, detailing <br />all modifications that the construction contractor must make to ensure installations conform with <br />construction plans. In some instances where deviation from the construction plans was <br />necessary, the punch list shall instead note the installation versus design discrepancy and why <br />it will not be corrected. <br />SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION ASSUMPTIONS <br />Consultant shall respond to up to four (4) RFIs during the installation process; 4 hours <br />of staff time is assumed to respond to each RFI. <br />Consultant shall respond to up to two (2) Submittals during the installation process; 2 <br />hours of staff time is assumed to respond to each Submittal. <br />Consultant shall submit revised drawings to reflect up to two (2) design changes during <br />the installation process; 4 hours of staff time is assumed for each design change. <br />Consultant shall perform one (1) post-installation site walk to develop a construction <br />punch list; the site walk is assumed to take a maximum of eight (8) hours of staff time. <br />Record drawings will not be prepared by Consultant. <br />TASK 2 DELIVERABLES <br />Responses to four (4) RFIs (emails, plus phone calls as needed) <br />Responses to two (2) Submittals <br />Resubmittal of plans to reflect up to two (2) design changes <br />Site walk <br />Construction punch list (Excel format) <br />ATTY/AGR.2021 - Amend No. 1/Toole Design Inc.
