6.A. - Page 11 of 16 <br />Assigned Personnel with harassment prevention training in accordance with state <br />law. <br />6. Contractor will adhere to all applicable state, federal and local laws, including but <br />not limited to state, federal and local laws regarding employment, healthcare, <br />immigration, non-discrimination in employment, and compensation of wages. <br />7. Assignment Requests and Selection <br />a. The Assistant City Manager or his/her designee may contact Contractor to <br />request personnel to temporarily provide any combination of duties set <br />forth in Exhibit B and as requested by the Assistant City <br />Manager/designee. <br />b. The Assistant City Manager/designee's request will include, but will not be <br />limited to: <br />i. A description of the type of service or work requested; <br />ii. A start date and end date of the assignment; <br />iii. Work location; <br />iv. Work schedule; <br />v. Any certifications that may be required; and <br />vi. Level of expertise and/or education required. <br />A copy of the request will be provided to the City's Human Resources <br />Director. <br />c. The Contractor will respond to the Assistant City Manager/ designee's <br />request within five (5) business days with an acknowledgement of the <br />request and a timeline for providing personnel for consideration for an <br />assignment. The timeline shall not exceed fifteen (15) business days from <br />the date of the Assistant City Manager/designee's request. <br />d. The Contractor shall introduce each candidate to be considered for an <br />assignment in a separate email containing, at minimum: <br />i. The candidate's resume; and <br />ii. The candidate's hourly billing rate. <br />e. The Assistant City Manager/designee may request to meet with one or <br />more candidates. <br />f. The Assistant City Manager/designee shall notify the Contractor via email <br />who the preferred candidate shall be to fulfill the assignment. <br />g. Contractor shall furnish City with every reasonable opportunity to ascertain <br />that the services of Contractor and Assigned Personnel are being <br />performed in accordance with the requirements and intentions of this <br />Agreement.
