• Contractor will hire and/or identify a Census Project Coordinator, responsible for managing the
<br />project, no later than March 1, 2020
<br />• Include/add San Mateo County Census 2020 logo to collateral materials, when appropriate,
<br />beginning March 1, 2020 and through the term of this Agreement
<br />• Attend lessons learned summit in summer 2020
<br />• Report any census -related misinformation or malicious information to the County Census Team
<br />as soon as practicable but, in any event, within 72 hours
<br />• Coordinate and maintain at least monthly communication with CAT coordinator (Thrive
<br />Alliance) beginning no later than March 1, 2020
<br />• Submit to the County a DRAFT Outreach Implementation Plan in a format determined by the
<br />County by, March 6, 2020
<br />• Incorporate feedback from DRAFT Outreach Implementation Plan, if applicable, and submit to
<br />the County, a FINAL Implementation Plan in a format determined by the County by March 13,
<br />2020
<br />• Submit to the County, and Thrive, monthly reports in formats determined by the County as
<br />indicated:
<br />• Monthly reports due on last Friday of the month (starting at the end March, 2020)
<br />• Submit Final report by July 31, 2020
<br />A. Program Plans and Outcomes:
<br />Plan 1: Contractor will convene a Launch Meeting with partners of the grant, if applicable, to
<br />develop outreach strategies and roles of partners. Contractor will provide the County with a team
<br />roster, including partners, by March 13, 2020.
<br />Outcome: The approach developed will avoid duplication of efforts; share ideas, lessons learned,
<br />challenges/barriers, best practices; and target areas of need.
<br />Plan 2: Contractor will convene monthly meetings (by phone or in person) with funded partners, if
<br />applicable, and invite other community organizations (libraries, schools, churches, etc.) to plan and
<br />monitor outreach activities using tools provided by the County. Beginning March 2020 through July
<br />31, 2020.
<br />Outcome: The approach, strategies and messaging are discussed and refined at meetings.
<br />Plan 3: Contractor will hire/identify a Census Project Coordinator, responsible for managing the
<br />project, no later than March 1, 2020.
<br />Outcome: The Census Project Coordinator will manage the project over the term of the Agreement,
<br />coordinating outreach and maintaining accurate reporting and evaluation metrics.
<br />Plan 4: Contractor will receive from the County messaging, materials, toolkits, and training to
<br />support census education. Messaging and material may be adapted for residents to ensure they are
<br />engaging, relevant, and compelling.
