If you have one -lane closed in each direction on Bridge Pkwy, there is a blind summit at the
top of the actual bridge where a car (often going too fast) can barrel into a walker or young
bicyclist (child) while speeding down the bridge ... it truly is a blind summit at the top and you
would be creating a hazardous situation for our residents. I just dread thinking about such a
tragedy happening.
May I propose a better street in RWS where I do see many people enjoying the outdoors? I
would propose you close to vehicular traffic the section of Bridge Parkway that is beyond the
library, paralleling the Belmont Slough behind the Bayshore Technology Park. There are
many pedestrians and cyclists there now and I do find it more challenging to social distance.
But if that section of the road was closed, it would create an ideal, safe, beautiful walkway for
us (with plenty of parking in the office lots) to exercise while enjoying the water scenery.
Thank you for your consideration
Vivian Crisman
561 Cringle Drive
(650) 483-5620
