6.E. - Page 1 of 12 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: May 18, 2020 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment No. 9 to the Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and Services (Town of Woodside) <br />Agreement <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt a resolution approving Amendment No. 9 to the Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and <br />Services (Town of Woodside) Agreement, authorizing the City Manager to execute said amendment, and <br />finding that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Public Safety <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 7, 1997, the Town of Woodside entered into a Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and <br />Services Agreement with the City of Redwood City to use the City's sewer capacity for the development <br />of their Town Center. The agreement was executed among the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District, the <br />Town of Woodside, and the City on August 7, 2001. This agreement defined the obligations and <br />responsibilities of the respective three parties. The Town of Woodside agreed to: <br />1. Acquire 100,000 gallons per day of treatment capacity through the City, which is a member agency <br />of the Silicon Valley Clean Water Authority (SVCW), to service the sewage effluent from the Town <br />Center project, and <br />2.
