City of Redwood City: The City of Redwood City is represented by the City Manager's <br />Office and the Community Development & Transportation Department, which includes <br />the divisions of Planning and Engineering & Transportation. <br />• The City Manager's Office guides policy in the City, including those around <br />housing and economic development. <br />• The Planning Division advises in matters affecting land use and development <br />in Redwood City. <br />• The Engineering & Transportation Division advises in matters affecting utilities <br />and multimodal transportation and the adequacy of that infrastructure to <br />support new development. <br />b. Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board: The JPB is represented by the Caltrain <br />Rail Division, which includes Caltrain Planning, Caltrain Engineering, and District <br />shared services which includes management of Real Estate and Development <br />functions on behalf of the JPB. <br />• Caltrain Planning encompasses long-range, system wide planning and policy, <br />capital planning as well as network and operations planning. <br />• Real Estate and Property Development manages the JPB's real estate <br />holdings including leases and other agreements. <br />• Caltrain Engineering provides engineering support at all levels of project <br />planning, design and construction. <br />c. San Mateo County Transit District: The District is represented by Planning, Real <br />Estate and Property Development, as well as project management staff on the <br />Dumbarton Rail Corridor Project. <br />REV: 05-07-2020 PR <br />• The Planning function includes long-term, strategic planning as well as <br />operations planning and scheduling for SamTrans services. <br />• Real Estate and Property Development manages the District's real estate <br />holdings including leases and other agreements. <br />• Dumbarton Rail Corridor Project represents the District's interests in this <br />project which is being developed by Cross Bay Transit Partners, LLC. <br />ATTY/AGR.2020.071/SMCTA and JPB (Page 5 of 23) 173 <br />
