8.A. - Page 11 of 28 <br />The Parties will be responsible for appointing a primary staff contact to the Staff Working Group, <br />as well as an alternate if the primary staff person cannot attend a meeting. <br />In addition to the above Parties, many Stakeholders will be engaged with the Activities. Key <br />Stakeholders include: <br />a. Cross Bay Transit Partners, LLC: This venture of Facebook and Plenary <br />Group/CDPQ is planning the development of a Dumbarton rail crossing connecting <br />the east bay with the Redwood City Station. <br />b. Lowe Enterprises — Sequoia Station: This development proposal includes <br />demolition of the existing buildings and underground parking garage and construction <br />of a mixed use development of retail, housing and office with sufficient space for <br />additional tracks and coordination with JPB on replacement of parking for transit uses. <br />c. San Mateo County Transportation Authority: The San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority ("TA") is the funding entity for the Whipple Avenue Grade <br />Separation Study and may be involved in the planning and funding of other Activities <br />included in this MOU. <br />d. Adjacent Local Jurisdictions: There is potential for Activities to involve discussion <br />of changes to infrastructure or services that could influence or impact other <br />jurisdictions adjacent to the City (the City of San Carlos in the north and the County of <br />San Mateo and the Town of Atherton to the south). As such circumstances arise, the <br />Parties will engage with these jurisdictions. <br />e. High -Speed Rail: The California High -Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) will be a future <br />tenant on the JPB-owned corridor and has a long-term interest in the planning and <br />development of the corridor's rail infrastructure. JPB is responsible for ensuring that <br />relevant Activities in this MOU are conducted in a manner that is reflective of the JPB's <br />agreements with the CHSRA. <br />The Parties will involve Stakeholders in the Activities as appropriate when their interests can be <br />reasonably foreseen to be impacted or when their involvement is needed to facilitate decision <br />making. <br />r <br />is . { NI MUM= <br />The role of the Staff Working Group is to: <br />• Review, discuss and provide feedback on Parties' technical work products related to this <br />MOU, with the goals of: <br />o Improving the technical work by including Parties' perspectives and expertise; and <br />REV: 05-07-2020 PR <br />ATTY/AGR.2020.071 ISM CTA and JPB (Page 6 of 23) 174 <br />
