The Contractor must have the ability to receive and respond to emergency situations and <br />must respond to emergency call outs within one hundred twenty (120) minutes of receipt <br />of the call. <br />J. Working Day <br />The Contractor's working day activities shall be limited to the hours between 7:00 a.m., and <br />4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding designated City holidays. Deviation from normal <br />working hours will not be allowed without prior written consent of the City's Tree Maintenance <br />Leader and/or other authorized City staff. The following are the designated City holidays: <br />1. January 1 (New Year's Day) <br />2. The third Monday in January (Martin Luther King's Birthday) <br />3. The third Monday in February (President's Day) <br />4. The last Monday in May (Memorial Day) <br />5. July 4 (Independence Day) <br />6. The first Monday in September (Labor Day) <br />7. November 11 (Veterans' Day) <br />8. The fourth Thursday in November (Thanksgiving Day) <br />9. The day after Thanksgiving Day <br />10. December 24 (Christmas Eve) <br />11. December 25 (Christmas Day) <br />12. December 31 (New Year's Eve) <br />When a designated holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be a designated <br />holiday. When Christmas or New Year's Day falls on a Sunday or Monday the preceding Friday <br />shall be a holiday. <br />K. Term <br />The term shall be for a one (1) year period from the effective date of the contract. The contract <br />may be renewed for up to two (2) consecutive, two (2) year increments after the initial contract <br />period, at the discretion and approval of the City. The City shall notify the Contractor in writing <br />of the intent to extend the contract. <br />L. Invoicing <br />Contractor will submit monthly invoices to: Public Works Services Department, Attn: Public <br />Works Superintendent — Right -of -Way, 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063.
