CirclePoint anticipates the release of this fact sheet within Wave 1. Update 2 will highlight .key findings of the background analysis -and pose questions as to how these findings might affect the development of scenarios for the change areas. CirclePoint anticipates this fact sheet would be released between Waves 1 and 2. Update 3 will present the Citywide alternatives (the What If? scenarios) for land use, transportation and housing. The content within this fact sheet will mirror the materials presented to affinity groups within Task 3.4 above. CirclePoint anticipates the City's release of this fact sheet prior to the meetings with affinity groups, such that the broader public has a first chance to see the scenarios. Update 4 would showcase the preferred future scenario, as is expected to be determined following completion of Wave 2 outreach activities. This final fact sheet can be expanded into a "gazette" format that can serve as an "evergreen" ongoing outreach tool; in essence a citizen's guide to key changes and goals of the new General Plan. The fact sheet and updates will provide basic information regarding City staff contacts and the General Plan websiteas resources for additional information. Circle Point will provide up to two administrative draft fact sheets, a proofcheck, and a camera- ready copy (print and electronic versions). CirclePoint assumes that the City will arrange separately for printing and distribution of these documents. Circle Point recommends all informational materials be in English and Spanish; CirclePoint's budget includes an allowance for translation of these materials into Spanish. 3.7 E-newsletters and Notices Circle Point will prepare a visually engaging template for simple "e-updates" that would include the same information noted in the materials above and be issued on the same schedule (up to 4 times over the anticipated one-year course of the New General Plan). Electronic updates, in particular, may help reach employees of local high tech companies that .comprise a good portion of Redwood City's daily population and potential future residents. 3.8 Online Survey CirclePoint will develop an on-line survey as a tool to elicit detailed feedback on the General Plan. The survey can be graphically linked to the City's website: users would click on a graphic on the main page and/or General Plan page of the website, and betaken to a separate survey website. At City direction, CirclePointassumes the survey would coincide with Wave 2 and be used as a tool to gauge public opinion on the Citywide land use, housing, and transportation alternatives. Circle Point will create the survey using graphics and quantitative information developed by Hogle- Ireland in the "What If?" scenarios (see Task 6 below).
