Consultant shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and <br />regulations prohibiting discrimination and harassment. Consultant will provide all <br />Assigned Personnel with harassment prevention training in accordance with state <br />law. <br />III. Consultant will adhere to all applicable state, federal and local laws, including but <br />not limited to state, federal and local laws regarding employment, healthcare, <br />immigration, non-discrimination in employment, and compensation of wages. <br />IV. Assignment Requests and Selection <br />a. The Manager or his/her designee may contact Consultant to request <br />personnel to temporarily provide any combination of duties set forth in this <br />Exhibit and as requested by the Manager. <br />b. The Manager's request may include: <br />i. A description of the type of service or work requested; <br />ii. A start date and end date of the assignment; <br />iii. Work schedule; <br />iv. Level of expertise and/or education <br />v. A copy of the request will be provided to the City's Human <br />Resources Director. <br />c. The Consultant will respond to the Manager's request within five (5) <br />business days with an acknowledgement of the request and a timeline for <br />providing personnel for consideration for an assignment. The timeline shall <br />not exceed fifteen (15) business days from the date of the Manager's <br />request. <br />d. Per the Manager's request, the Consultant shall introduce each candidate <br />to be considered for an assignment in a separate email containing, at <br />minimum: <br />i. The candidate's experience; and <br />ii. The candidate's hourly billing rate. <br />e. The Manager may request to meet with one or more personnel. <br />f. The Manager shall notify the Consultant via email who the preferred <br />candidate shall be to fulfill the assignment. <br />g. Consultant shall furnish City with every reasonable opportunity to ascertain <br />that the services of Consultant and Assigned Personnel are being <br />performed in accordance with the requirements and intentions of this <br />Agreement. All work done and all materials furnished, if any, shall be <br />subject to the Manager or his/her designee's inspection and approval. The <br />inspection of such work shall not relieve Consultant of any of its obligations <br />to fulfill the Agreement as prescribed. <br />h.
