Consultant will provide all Assigned Personnel with harassment prevention training in accordance with state law. III. Consultant will adhere to all applicable state, federal and local laws, including but not limited to state, federal and local laws regarding employment, healthcare, immigration, non-discrimination in employment, and compensation of wages. IV. Assignment Requests and Selection a. The Manager or his/her designee may contact Consultant to request personnel to temporarily provide any combination of duties set forth in this Exhibit and as requested by the Manager. b. The Manager's request may include: i. A description of the type of service or work requested; ii. A start date and end date of the assignment; iii. Work schedule; iv. Level of expertise and/or education v. A copy of the request will be provided to the City's Human Resources Director. c. The Consultant will respond to the Manager's request within five (5) business days with an acknowledgement of the request and a timeline for providing personnel for consideration for an assignment. The timeline shall not exceed fifteen (15) business days from the date of the Manager's request. d. Per the Manager's request, the Consultant shall introduce each candidate to be considered for an assignment in a separate email containing, at minimum: i. The candidate's experience; and ii. The candidate's hourly billing rate. e. The Manager may request to meet with one or more personnel. f. The Manager shall notify the Consultant via email who the preferred candidate shall be to fulfill the assignment. g. Consultant shall furnish City with every reasonable opportunity to ascertain that the services of Consultant and Assigned Personnel are being performed in accordance with the requirements and intentions of this Agreement. All work done and all materials furnished, if any, shall be subject to the Manager or his/her designee's inspection and approval. The inspection of such work shall not relieve Consultant of any of its obligations to fulfill the Agreement as prescribed. h.
