<br />6.1A <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />RNI Responsibilities: <br /> <br />Sensus Metering Systems will: <br /> <br />1. Install the RNI servers in rack or cabinet supplied by the customer. The RNI consists of <br />two servers with mounting hardware designed to be installed into a standard computer <br />server rack or cabinet. Each server requires 1 rack space (3 total rack spaces are <br />required to accommodate the two servers and ancillary equipment). The customer will <br />determine the desired location for RNI installation. <br />2. Supply and configure the RNI hardware and FlexWare software necessary to operate on <br />the RNI hardware. <br />3. Install the RNI hardware, test, and verify proper network connectivity to access the TGB. <br />4. Install and configure FlexWare software to interface with the Customers billing software. <br /> <br />The Customer will: <br /> <br />1. Purchase all required FlexNet RNI hardware and FlexWare software. <br />2. Provide a location for the RNJ Servers (typically housed in customer's server room). <br />3. Provide a cabinet or rack to mount the RNI servers in the desired location. <br />4. Provide the network cabling and any other hardware to connect the RNI to the <br />customer's network, if applicable. <br />5. Pay any fees associated with acquiring and maintaining the static IP addresses required <br />to access network equipment located at the TGB site. <br />6. Provide the necessary static IP addresses for the FlexNet system components. <br />7. Provide a clean and reliable power source for the RNI hardware equipment. <br />8. Secure a suitable contractor to connect the data management software to the billing <br />system to allow for data to be imported for billing purposes. <br />9. Allow a minimum of thirty (30) to forty-five (45) days from the time the TGB, RNI and <br />sufficient endpoints have been operational before requiring that data be used for billing <br />purposes. <br />10. Provide any required computer equipment necessary for RNI data backup beyond what <br />is provided by the system in standard configuration. <br />11. Perform RNI data backup as recommended by Sensus. <br />12. Assure that the RNI servers provided with the FlexNet system are used exclusively for <br />FlexNet. Customer cannot add, delete or modify any applications installed on the RNI <br />servers without the express written permission of Sensus Metering Systems. <br /> <br />4 <br />
