<br />TASK 5: PROJECT MANAGEMENT, QAlQC, AND CLIENT MEETINGS <br /> <br />The Consultant shall set up and implement a cost accounting system to track project <br />costs as they are incurred. During the course of the Project the Consultant shall submit <br />monthly Control Reports that include the following: <br /> <br />1) A Narrative Progress Report that addresses all of the following: <br />. Specific accomplishments during the reporting period <br />. Problems encountered or anticipated and recommended solutions <br />. Accomplishments scheduled for the next reported period <br />. Results of any significant activities <br />. Specific details focusing on any problems or issues affecting the Project <br />design, scope, budget or schedule. <br /> <br />2) A Cost Report for each task showing: <br />. Current period and cumulative expenditures to date. <br />. Estimated cost to complete. <br />. Estimated cost at completion. <br />. Approved budget. <br />. A comparison of the estimated cost at completion with the approved <br />budget to show and discuss any variance. <br />. Estimated date to complete. <br /> <br />Prior to submitting any deliverables the Consultant shall have the deliverables reviewed <br />by independent staff that is not part of the direct project team. <br /> <br />The project manager together with appropriate project team members shall attend the <br />following client meetings: <br /> <br />. Project kick-off meeting <br />. Conceptual (30%) plan review meeting <br />. 95% plan review meeting <br />. Pre-bid meeting <br />. Pre-construction meeting <br /> <br />ACTIONS TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY CITY <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City shall: <br />. Provide clean, legible hardcopies of record drawings for the existing pump <br />station, the existing force main alignment and profile prior to the start of the <br />preliminary design <br /> <br />50f6 <br />
