Some children are not reading at grade <br />level. Children of color are falling behind, being pushed through the system. If this was <br />a white neighborhood school problem, problem would have been addressed. Begins in <br />preschool. Will have an impact later in life, ongoing systemic impact. <br />• Immediate term - only 4 or 5 days out from eviction moratorium expiring. Keeping a <br />foothold in a home is tough, renter or owner. COVID is driving us further apart. Racial <br />inequity makes getting removed from housing even more difficult to recover from.
