6.J.- Page 3of5 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The projects are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) Guidelines pursuant to Section 15301(c), Class 1 ("Existing Facilities") for the repair and <br />maintenance of existing highways and streets with negligible or no expansion of an existing use. The <br />proposed improvements for this project will occur to existing streets with no expansion of road capacity. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may: <br />1. Choose to not adopt a resolution of support for one or both of the projects and direct staff to identify <br />alternative funding sources; or <br />2.
