In addition, incorporate evolving <br />physical distancing recommendations into in-person activities <br />• Continue Redwood City Public Library Cultivating and Advancing Racial Equity Systemically <br />(RCPL CARES) racial equity work, including public programs for all ages; a complete equity <br />audit of Library policies; and staff recruitment, retention, and training initiatives with an <br />equity focus <br />• Once the reimagined Library Takeover program series is completed in 2021, sustain the <br />community relationships with marginalized populations that were developed through <br />these programs and explore additional collaborative programs and services <br />• Complete fundraising and construction of Downtown Library makerspace/co-working <br />space for all ages by June 2021 <br />• Collaborate with Parks, Recreation, and Community Services to complete the Redwood <br />Shores pirate ship imaginative art area installation by Summer 2021 <br />Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />• Support vulnerable community members impacted by COVID-19 at the Fair Oaks <br />Community Center including: community rental assistance program, homeless support, <br />food distribution, diaper distribution program, and senior support <br />• Support childcare providers in light of COVID-19 impacts through outreach, grant <br />information, and rental assistance <br />• Support seniors through COVID-19 impacts by continuing the daily lunch program, <br />distributing activity kits, contacting senior participants weekly, and providing <br />connections online/calls/letter writing <br />• Implement safe in-person and virtual recreation programs and activities focused on <br />youth and families throughout FY 2020-21 due to COVID-19 restrictions <br />• Launch safe drive-in community events following State mandates due to COVID-19, <br />such as "Motor Movies" and "Drive -In Zoppe Circus, during fall 2020 <br />• Support school age children by providing in-person "Learning Hubs" by PRCS staff at <br />recreation centers <br />STRATEGIC PRIORITIES AND GOALS 430 <br />
