It is understandable that our city must explore ways to navigate <br />through the revenue shortfalls our city will be facing following COVID-19 but we must do the best to not sacrifice <br />public safety during these tumultuous times. During the past few months our public safety members have sacrificed <br />more than they usually have to by placing themselves and their families at risk by showing up to work throughout <br />the COVID pandemic. I fear that cuts to the public safety budgets may incur strains to our public safety members by <br />limiting staffing and resources during these uncertain times. I urge our council members to protect our public safety <br />members from experiencing any additional obstacles to the challenging jobs they already do. <br />- Danilo Quintanilla <br />Redwood Shores Resident <br />
