When I first heard about the potential of opening such shops in <br />RWC, my assumption was that they would be located downtown, in a more commercial <br />district. Woodside Plaza shopping center is one block away from residential homes with a <br />sizable number of young children. I'm in favor of the shops as long as they are not this close <br />to any residential real estate. I don't think this is a case of NIMBY, but a recognition that there <br />are more appropriate places for such businesses to exist. With that said, there are plenty of <br />other options such as: downtown, el camino, seaport - all of these places are farther away <br />from homes. <br />Thank you, <br />Sarah Walter <br />
