forward to our continuation as a cooperative and socially conscious
neighbor.
We believe that the City has a very unique opportunity in the coming years
to further develop a highly functional, recreational waterfront area and we
are hopeful that we can be a viable partner in this endeavor. We believe a
public-private partnership that would promote greater access to water-
based activities is a very worthy initiative. We are confident in our
organization's ability to successfully lead and financially underwrite a
aquatics center that will provide for its combined utilization by the city, its
residents, and its neighbors.
A critical component of raising funds for such an important initiative is to
have certainty on land availability. Once the land swap of the adjacent
propertywith the County of San Mateo is consummated, we hope we can
engage with the City of Redwood City and BIAC in a collaborative manner
to bring this vision to life. We look forward to speaking soon.
Michael Strambi
Norcal Crew Board of Directors
