It embodies distinctive characteristics of <br />a style, type, period or method of construction, or is a valuable example of the use of indigenous materials <br />or craftsmanship. The vertical redwood siding, broad eaves of the gabled roof, and exposed rafters are <br />distinct architectural elements characteristic of second phase Bay Area Tradition. <br />Figure 2: Image of Ray and Nita Spangler <br />The project could be eligible for the California Register of Historic Places under Criteria 2 and 3.
