James O’Connell
Red Morton Community Park Regional Stormwater Capture Project, Redwood City, CA – Phase 2A
7 June 14, 2021
meeting to present the Final IS/MND) . This task also includes implementation of our quality control procedures
(e.g., senior level review) and administrative time for contracting and invoicing.
Deliverables:
Phase I ESA Report Draft and Final
Data Request Memorandum
Administrative Draft of IS/MND
Public Draft IS/MND including NOI, NOC, and newspaper or other public CEQA notices
Task 6. 30% Project Design
Task 6.1. 30% PS&E
For the 30% design submittal, the project team will develop plans to the 30% level overall. Approximately 60% of
the civil design drawings will be developed to some degree and many will be nearly complete. Outline
specifications and cost estimates will be prepared.
The 30% submittal will mostly consist of plan sheets to provide more detail than was originally included in the
Preliminary Design Concept Report, and address comments from Redwood City. The structural, mechanical and
electrical design features will be further refined at the 60% design level to verify pump station sizing, piping layout
and initial consultation with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PGE).
The cost estimate from the Preliminary Engineering Concept Design Report will be updated.
Hard copies and digital electronic files of 30% Plans, Outline specifications, and Cost Estimate will be submitted.
It is assumed that a 30% Design Workshop will be convened at a location to be named by the City, with the
availability of teleconferencing the supporting design team, approximately two (2) weeks following receipt of
the 30% Design Submittal. A review comment matrix will be prepared to capture review comments and
responses of all comments. The responses will be meaningful and descriptive enough to allow for the City
Project Manager to fully understand the nature of the comment and how the comment was closed.
The team will support the City with any presentations relevant to the City Commission and/or Council.
Most plan sheets will be at 1” = 30’ scale. We anticipate including a few plan sheets that will show overall
layouts, and these may be at 1” = 50’ scale. In addition, it may be necessary for us to include a few detailed
plans, at a larger scale such as 1” = 10’. The hydraulic profile of the system will be shown where applicable.
Deliverables:
30% Design PS&E Documents
30% Design Workshop
Task 7. Preliminary Grant Application Preparation
Our team will partner closely with the City of Redwood to coordinate the preparation of grant applications and
credit assistance application packages to ensure a successful, competitive submittal. Each application format is
unique, and a customized approach in developing project work plans and justification, budgets, schedules,
supporting graphics (including exhibits, graphs, schematics, animations, etc.), supporting documentation and
certifications is paramount to ensure an application that is responsive to the evaluation criteria set forth by the
ATTY/AGR.2021/Amend No. 1/Craftwater Inc (Page 10 of 16)
