<br />Redwood City Public Reviewl Meeting Process: <br />. June 12, 2007: ARC held a meeting to review and provide design input on <br />conceptual project design plan submittal. <br />. June 25, 2007: City Council held a public hearing to designate the San Mateo <br />Community College District as the Lead Agency for the Canada College <br />Faculty/Staff Housing Project. <br />. September 25, 2007: Architectural Review Committee (ARC) held a meeting to <br />review and provide design input on project plan submittal. <br />. November 27, 2007: Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />recommended City Council approval of the project site's annexation including <br />prezoning and General Plan designation. Staff report and Minutes were <br />previously provided to the City Council. <br />. January 8, 2008: Planning Commission held a Community Study Session to <br />provide a public forum for open discussion of the proposed project design to <br />obtain public input and to provide direction to the applicant. Staff report and <br />Minutes were previously provided to the City Council. <br />. February 19, 2008: Planning Commission held a public hearing and conditionally <br />approved the PO Permit for a 60-unit (Mediterranean-style architecture) Canada <br />College housing project contingent upon: Redwood City City Council approval of <br />the project site's General Plan designation, Prezoning and property tax <br />exchange; the Town of Woodside's Property Tax Exchange; and LAFCO <br />property annexation. Staff report and Minutes were previously provided to the <br />City Council. <br />. April 1, 2008: Planning staff received the College District's withdrawal of their <br />Planned Development (PO) permit application, which was conditionally approved <br />by the Planning Commission on February 19, 2008, to address project design <br />modifications requested by the Town of Woodside design subcommittee. A new <br />application was submitted to Redwood City with a new Arts and Crafts-style <br />architectural design. <br />. April 8, 2008: Architectural Review Committee (ARC) reviewed and unanimously <br />recommended approval of the applicant's new revised (Arts and Crafts-style <br />architecture) PO plan submittal. <br /> <br />College District Public Reviewl Meeting Process: <br />. June 26, 2007: Community meeting held at Canada College <br />. August 21, 2007: Meeting held with Board of Directors of Woodhill Estate HOA <br />. August 21,2007: General meeting held with Fox Hollow HOA <br />. August 22, 2007: College District released the project Initial Study and MND <br />. August 23rd to Sept 13, 2007: 20 day public review and comment period on the <br />Initial Study and MND <br />. September 22,2007: General meeting held with Woodhill Estates HOA <br />. September 26, 2007: Public hearing held before College District Board on the <br />Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (MNO). The Board adopted the <br />MND and approved the project. <br />. October 16,2007: Community meeting held at Canada College <br />. November 16, 2007: College District installed "story poles" on the project site to <br />generally demark the building corners and proposed project height. <br />.
