<br />Woodside Hills Christian Academy, Redwood City <br />Proposal to Provide Traffic Engineering Services <br /> <br />C. RKH will collect 24-hr., directional speed data on McGarvey Avenue in two <br />locations between Alameda de las Pulgas and Roosevelt Avenue. <br /> <br />2. Existing Conditions. <br /> <br />A. RKH will create a traffic analysis network of the study area streets and <br />intersections using the TRAFFIX network modeling program.! <br /> <br />B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) at each of the six study area <br />intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and afternoon (2-6 p.m.) peak hours. For <br />the afternoon peak period the LOS will be calculate for the hour of peak activity <br />of the school/day care and for the traditional work-to-home peak hour using the <br />procedures contained in HCM2000.2 <br /> <br />3. Project Traffic. <br /> <br />A. RKH will estimate traffic generation for the school and day care based on data <br />provided through the City by the school/day care owner(s). The data should <br />include time of day and numbers of students arriving and leaving the school and <br />the time of day and numbers of children being dropped off and picked up at the <br />day care facility. The data should indicate the number of children per vehicle. <br /> <br />B. RKH will estimate project vehicle distribution on the surrounding street system <br />based on data provided through the City by the school/day care owners. The data <br />should include the nearest cross street intersection of the residence of each of the <br />students and children attending the school and child care facility. <br /> <br />4. Project Traffic Impacts. <br /> <br />A. RKH will add project traffic to existing traffic through the six study area <br />intersections for the morning and two afternoon peak traffic hours. <br /> <br />B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Existing + Project conditions <br />at each of the five study area intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and <br />afternoon (2-6 p.m.) peak hours.
