Ezell <br />Mach 26, 2008 <br /> <br />Task 1.2 - Project Identification <br /> <br />WBA will meet with the Redwood City Water Services Department staff to assist them in <br />selecting a list of projects with higher chances of funding, brainstorm alternative projects, and <br />obtain relevant information for the development of a water conservation program to be <br />incorporated into the Step 1 application. <br /> <br />Task 2: Prepare Application Requirements <br /> <br />WBA will fill out Attachment 1 (Project Description), Attachment 2 (Project Costs) and an Online <br />Application in the FAAST State website. These components are explained as follows: <br /> <br />Task 2.1: Project Development <br /> <br />WBA will gather information from Redwood City Water Conservation Programs and analyze the <br />data according to State requirements for the grant application. Data analysis include tasks such <br />as analysis of cost share and calculation of State allocation, calculation and cost effectiveness <br />of turf replacement program, water savings budget per project proposed, effectiveness and <br />reliability of high technology satellite imagery residential water allocation project. <br /> <br />Task 2.2: Complete Project Description (Attachment 1 of the Grant Application) <br /> <br />WBA will describe Redwood City water conservation projects, the benefits of implementing them <br />as it relates to the State grant ranking criteria and explain how the proposed projects fit into <br />local and Integrated Regional Water Management Plan and Urban Water Management Plan. <br /> <br />Task 2.3: Complete Project Cost Estimate (Attachment 2 of the Grant Application) <br /> <br />WBA will prepare cost estimates for projects that will be included in the Step 1 of the <br />application. Preparation of cost estimates includes gathering and evaluation of water <br />conservation project budgets, current progress, future allocated budget (local share), and <br />amount deemed appropriate to request for State funding (state share). <br /> <br />Task 2.4: Complete Federal Forms and Online Application <br /> <br />WBA will complete all online application forms including federal forms that are required as part <br />of the online application process. <br /> <br />Task 3: Project Management <br /> <br />WBA will attend a public workshop in Sacramento on April 1 st, 2008 and prepare meeting <br />minutes; participate in meetings and conference calls with the Redwood City team (for <br />budgetary purposes assume 2 meetings and 2 conference calls) and provide quality assurance <br />and control on the final deliverable to the SWRCB. <br /> <br />STEP 2 GRANT APPLICATION SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Below are the proposed tasks for the preparation of the Step 2 grant application (full proposal). <br />(Note that this proposal excludes the preparation of Attachment 1, signature page, or <br />Attachment 8, disadvantaged communities). <br /> <br />3 <br />
