<br />5.1F <br />Page 14 <br /> <br />Consultant shall c{)ordinate with the City through meetings and correspondence. It is anticipated <br />that a, two-hour-long project status/coordination meeting will be conducted with the City every <br />other week over the contract period. Consultant's project manager or designated representative <br />will attend each meeting. <br /> <br />Task 1.3 - QA/QC Program <br /> <br />Consultant shall develop and execute a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/Qc) Program <br />specific to this project. Quality reviews will be conducted prior to the Preliminary and Final <br />Design submittals for each retrofit. <br /> <br />Task I .4 - Schedule <br /> <br />Consultant shall prepare a Gantt chart schedule for design and construction of each site retrofit. <br />The schedule format will be coordinated with the City's program manager. The schedule will be <br />updated monthly and will serve as the basis of preparing the status reports under Task 1.1. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Service Lateral Coordination <br /> <br />To assist in design of the pipeline conveyance system (by others) from the treatment facilities to <br />the customer sites, Consultant shall perform preliminary service lateral reconnaissance. The <br />assessment will determine existing meter locations and establish preliminary locations for new <br />service lateral pipelines that will be constructed to the customer site boundary. This information <br />will be provided by Consultant to the City via field notes and mark-ups of base drawings <br />provided by the pipeline designer. The lateral will be designed and constructed by others. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Customer Coordination, Data Gathering and Site Fieldwork <br /> <br />The engineering labor effort for this task is estimated to be four hours per customer site. <br /> <br />Task 3.1 - Preliminary Customer Site Visit <br /> <br />Attend and participate in an initial customer site visit scheduled by a City representative. This <br />meeting will occur after the City has performed BMP5 related work, has developed a customer <br />information package, and has obtained a notice of intent, application for service and right-of- <br />entry agreement from the customer. <br /> <br />Task 3.2 - Existing Data Review <br /> <br />Review available information provided by via the City's BMP5 Program relative to existing <br />water services, meters and onsite water systems and landscapes, site plans, etc. Create a list of <br />additional data needs for Preliminary Retrofit Design (Task 4). <br /> <br />Task 3.3 - Preliminary GolNo-Go Decision <br /> <br />Based on the results of the initial customer meeting and data review, assist the City in <br />determining the Go-No/Go decision on the feasibility of service and proceeding with Preliminary <br /> <br />Agreement over $lOK <br />Rev-3 052308 <br /> <br />8 <br />
