By the March 11, <br />2008 deadline, the SBWMA received four (4) responsive proposals from companies capable <br />and qualified to provide the collection services described in the RFP. The proposers are: <br /> <br />. Allied Waste Services of San Mateo County ("Allied") <br />. Bayside Environmental Services & Transfer ("BEST" is a joint venture of Peninsula <br />Sanitary Group, South San Francisco Scavenger Company, Green Waste Recovery and <br />Zanker Road Resource Management) <br />.
