<br />Page 3 <br />GEl Proposal <br /> <br />Bradford Street Properties, Redwood City, CA. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Install temporary construction chain link fence around work area. <br />Initially, excavate an approximate 3000 square foot area to a maximum depth of six <br />(6) feet below ground surface encompassing the former GEl Boring B-3 location. <br />Conduct confirmation sampling of the excavation floor and sidewalls approximately <br />every (twenty) 20 linear feet and analyze for semi-volatile organic compounds <br />(SVOCs) via EPA Method 8270C. <br />Stockpile all excavated soil and cover with poly sheeting. <br />Clean up site, remove SWPP and fencing, and demobilize. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Task 6B. Capping of Contaminated Soil <br /> <br />As an option to Task 6A above (Excavation of Impacted Soil), if approved by DTSC, <br />contaminated zone(s) of site could potentially be capped by an approved surface or <br />building foundation slab. If this option is chosen, Tasks 6A, 7 and 8 would not be <br />necessary. <br /> <br />Task 7. Transportation and Disposal of Soil <br /> <br />Soil will be profiled, loaded, transported and disposed as Class III material at Allied <br />Waste's Ox Mountain facility in Half Moon Bay. <br /> <br />Task 8. Backfilling <br /> <br />GEl will supply clean fill material for use as backfill for the excavation area. Backfill <br />will be supplied to the suf!iect site and placed within the excavation area. <br /> <br />Task 9. Remedial Action Report <br /> <br />Prepare a remedial action report detailing activities of the soil remediation. The report <br />will include figures, tables and laboratory reports. <br /> <br />2.0 PROJECT PRICING AND SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Project pricing per project scope tasks are presented in the attached spreadsheet. GEl <br />anticipates completing Task I through Task 4 within six (6) weeks of authorization to <br />proceed. Task 5 will be completed within one (1) week of receipt of public comments <br />from DTSC. Task 6-8 will be completed within three (3) weeks of DTSC authorization <br />to proceed. Task 9 will be completed within three (3) weeks of completion of Task 8. <br />
