<br />as to Use of Buildings. <br />SECTION 13. For the purpose of this Ordinanoe buildings are divided into <br /> <br />Class "C", "Mill Constroution" and "Frame or Wooden Buildings". <br /> <br />Class "C" Buildings. <br />SECTION l~. Class "C" buildings are defined as those having exterior walle <br />of briok, stone or oonorete and an interior frame of oombustible material. <br />The walls may be bearing or Qurtin walls and the interior supports ma~rA. j-L7 <br />timber joists, timber or steel girders and timber, steel or cast iron <br />columns or timber studding. <br />Class "C" buildings built with the interior of mill oonstruction or with <br />all joists, girders, studding, furring and soffits of stairs lathed with <br />metal lath and plastered may be built to a height not to exoeed g~ feet. <br /> <br />Class "C" buildings with all joists, girders, studding, furring and <br /> <br />soffits of stairs lathed with wooden lath and plastered or not lathed <br />and plastered may~be bu~lt to a height not to exoeed fifty fiva(55) feet. <br />Cla"Ss"C." bui1,dlng.s may be ereoted anywhere in the Town of Redwood City. <br />Mill Construction. <br />SECTION 15. Buildings of Mill Construotion are defined as those of <br />exterior walls of masonry and the interior loads supported by heavy <br /> <br />timber frame. The frame shall be oonstruoted without conoealed air spaces. <br />This method d construotion may be used for the interior of Class "C" <br />buildings and be built to a height of eighty four (g4) feet. <br />Frame or Wooden Buildings. <br />SECTION 16. Frame or wooden buildings 118Y be construoted to a height <br />not exceeding forty (40) feet and may be built anywhere in the Town of <br />RedWOOd City exoept within the fire limits, as said fire limits are <br /> <br />designated and desoribed in Ordinance No. <br /> <br />of the Town of <br /> <br />Redwood City, which ordinance was passed and adopted on the _______ day <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />, and shall ~ont8.in not more than three <br /> <br />etories and basement within the said forty (~O) feet. <br />Reinforced ConQrate Walls. <br /> <br />6. <br />
